Eso Won Books has stood the test of time and is arguably the most iconic privately owned Black bookstore in the U.S. Former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton [see photo above] are among the legends that have had book signings here. Carr’s best-selling book Germany’s Black Holocaust is among Eso Won’s record breakers, rivaling even the sales of President Clinton’s book. Carr has conducted many signings at Eso Won over the years.)
